Website disclaimer
This website disclaimer is a legal notice covering some of the key legal issues that arise out of the operation of a website.
The disclaimer incorporates a licence setting out the basis upon which a website may be used and a set of limitations of liability. It also helps website operators to comply with information disclosure laws. The disclaimer is a shorter version of our website terms and conditions template.
NB If you are looking for a disclaimer for an online shop or web store, we suggest that you consider our online shop pack.

Personal product review website
Hi, do you have a template for a personal product review website?
Personal websites
Assuming this is a question about personal (non-commercial) websites containing product reviews, rather than commerical websites containing reviews of "personal products", then the answer is "no" I'm afraid. We don't currently publish any documents for personal websites, in part because compliance with EU VAT rules is a hassle when selling digital products to consumers.
Opinion site
Hi,
Do you have disclaimer for a site offering honest opinions about anything? I imagine the disclaimer would contain something about the opinions given is not advice, but opinions etc.
Thanks in advance.
No generic advice disclaimer
Sorry - I don't have anything designed to cover opinions in general, beyond those more general provisions contained in the website, medical information and legal information disclaimers.

I'd need a clearer description of the situation to help with this.
No refund for a service?
Hello, I provide a local service here in Oregon. Clients come to my shop and I would like to have a disclaimer stating I have a "no refund policy".
Sorry
All our documents are English law documents. You should not use this disclaimer or any of our other templates as a basis for a document to be used in Oregan.
Also, we don't have a "no refund policy" document available.

Our site will allow users to upload their content. We will want to be able to absolve ourselves from any copyright issues, offence etc, by stating that the site is not responsible for users' postings and doesnt neccesarily reflect our views.
User content liability
Whilst you can put in place documents and procedures that will help you to reduce hte risk of a claim in relation to user content, you can't entirely absolve yourself of responsibility.

T&Cs of sale

Hot food
To disclaim or not disclaim
You don't "need" a disclaimer in the sense that the law (of England and Wales) would require you to have one. Indeed, even if you had a disclaimer, it may be unenforceable under the law.
In any case, I suggest you think very carefully before challenging employees to do anything that might lead to injury. There is the potential for liability here. For information about the employer's duty of care to employees, see:

Service agreement disclaimer
I have been asked to create a "disclaimer" that will be added to all service agreements for vendors servicing our residential properties. Do you have a template for this type of document?

Limb reconstruction patient support australasia
hi
I am setting up a patient support website for patients and families undergoing limb reconstruction. I am a registered nurse here in Sydney with 15 yrs experience in this field. My intention for the site is to provide an avenue for patients to link with specialists in their area, provide information and education and advice on general expectations potential complications associated with life undergoing lower limb reconstruction. I do not intend to nurse the patients but guide them back to their specialist where appropriate. I need a disclaimer - can you advise? Kind regards.

Notice of validity
Hi
Is there anyway i can obtain a template for the drafting of a notice of validity, I wish to obtain information from the transport and mainroads minister in Queensland Australia on the validity that human beings of living flesh and blood actully need a licence to travel freely in their privately owned personal convayence on public roads, and does the privately owned conveyance (automobile) require registration and insurance.
From what i understand the governing bodies being the Transport and Mainroads Dept have an Australian Business Number so this makes them a corporation or a business.
So my concern is how can a business like the Queensland Transport and Mainroads Dept or any fictional entity (Government Dept) in Australia force any living human being to contract with them in this fashion, forcing people to register, insure and obtain a licence in order to travel freely in their own privately owned convayence (automobile) on public roads, streets, highways, freeways or motorways that belong to the people and bought, built and payed for by the people.
Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated.

This need to be legal in New Zealand etc.
