Website terms and conditions
Our website terms and conditions template has been designed for use on typical websites, including those with with basic interactive features.
These terms and conditions include, amongst other things, a licence specifying how the website may be used, a disclaimer of liability, a statutory disclosures section and rules on user-contributed content. This document is an extended version of our website disclaimer document.
The terms and conditions are insufficient for a website selling products or services. For a complete set of documents for an online store, see our online shop packs.

Wonderful resource
That is a wonderful document for us to use. I am a newbie to websites and these "terms and conditions" have proven very useful to me. I have a website on www.royalkazaar.com. I will bookmark this page and refer it to other start ups. Thanks for sharing.

Legal terms and condition for a website
I am dealing in the online gift shop business I am wondering how I can get legal help to draft my terms and conditions and also advise me on legal issues affecting my website.
Professional support options
The main options are: employ a freelance lawyer; get an online legal consultancy or practice to help; engage a traditional law firm to draft the documents and provide advice. Costs vary dramatically between lawyers and between firms. If you'd like a quote from SEQ, please get in touch using our contact form, providing more details of exactly what it is you think you need.
Fantastic resource, thank you

International use
Hello,
I'm building a non-profit and a salon website, both based in the US. Am I OK to use T&Cs from your UK site? Can you refer me to a US site?
Thanks.
Don't use in US
You should not use this document for a US website - at least without expert adaptation.
I'm not in a position to recommend a particular US website I'm afraid.
Disclaimer for small hotel website
Hi there I am about to finish my website for a small homestay hotel - which of your very useful documents would you recommend? Thanks so much
Questions about hotel website
Where is the hotel? Is the website a simple brochure, or can booking be made through the website? What other actions can users take on the website?
New to the world of website building and ownership
Wow! I'm thrilled to have come across your resourceful and helpful website. My question to you is: I'm currently having my blog/vlog website built having hired a freelancer from Freelancer.com and I am new to the legalities that involve the building, operating/running and managing of a website and would therefore like to know, whether I could use your terms & conditions as a support to my learning and development. Or, would you advise me to speak directly with you in regards to this please?
There is so much to read and learn and I'm finding it exciting but nerve racking at the same time, as I wish not to get caught up in any civil or criminal disputes, an exaggerated thought, but it's important to bear in mind for future reference and shouldn't be ignored.
Use of T&Cs
You are welcome to use the T&Cs for educational purposes, although of course they cannot provide you with specific guidance/advice.
Affiliate ecommerce store
Hi, I am planning to open an affiliate ecommerce store. Do you have package of template of terms and conditions, privacy policy and affiliate disclaimer/disclosure for this kind of store?

Translate to my Language
Hi please, can I translate it into portuguese and put in my sites/ blogs? I will not remove the attribution.
Thanks
Translation of free template
Yes, that's fine (subject to the other licensing T&Cs).
Website T & C
Hello,
I live in India and my website contains ancient scriptures which are mostly in public domain by India, UK and USA law and not copyrighted so I can use your T & C and Privacy Policy on my website just for safety by user agreement to use website services and data collection etc.
Website T&C for Services
Hello! I am able to purchase your Website T&C for a site which sells goods, however the copy advises it is "insufficient" for use with a services website. I sell online training programs and one-on-one coaching services. Do you offer a T&C for such a purpose? Thank you!
Coaching services question
Do the online training programs take the form of subscriptions or downloadable courses?
Also, regarding the one-to-one coaching, is this face-to-face or via the internet or both?
In each case, what type of training/coaching is being provided?
Which documents do I need?
Hi,
I have started a website that will include newsletters, blogging & talk about the stock market/macro economic trends. I will also be selling a course too (not subscription, just a one time purchase). Which documents do I need?
Regards
Questions about website
What form will the course take? Will it be a downloadble course, based on streamed media and online services, or mixed?
