Answer to the question:

In order of decreasing expense, but increasing work for you, the mail options are as follows.

  1. Instruct a lawyer to prepare the document for you. The advantage of using a properly qualified and experienced lawyer is that you can be confident the documents are legally compliant and manage risk appropriately.  Legal fees vary a great deal, so shop around if necessary.
  2. Buy a template and adapt it for your website yourself. In adapting a template, you are taking on the lawyer's job, and you are largely responsible for the end result. Templates are merely tools, and can't provide legal advice. You will likely need to do some legal research to help with the adaptation process. Workload may be reduced if you can find a template with a good online editor.  Our new online editor should be live before the end of July.
  3. Get a free template, and adapt it yourself. As with paid templates, you are responsible for the outcome and may need to do some research. More editing work may be required, as it may be harder to find a free template that is a good "fit" with your website.
