Legality of contract

I am being pursued by a private parking company for alleged parking. They have provided me with a copy of their agreement with landowner that states they have permission to issue such penalty charge notices, however the form is signed (on behalf of the parking company) by an employee who retired some 6 years prior to the date of his supposed signing… Does this make the contract they have null and void?
