Can a division of a parent company keep trading if the parent company is forcibly dissolved?

Hello, I have outstanding invoices due to be settled by a company, X, which is a division of a parent company that was forcibly struck off last month. They are also requesting ongoing work. Is the company, X, allowed to keep trading and please could you confirm whether all the work done prior to the parent company being struck off now belongs to the the Crown?

Many thanks in advance.
