I was invoiced for work to my vehicle and the company number on the same was for a dissolved company and not the company which invoiced me. What does this mean?

The dissolved company cannot have invoiced you, as it does not exist. It therefore seems plausible, and perhaps likely – based on the very limited information provided – that it is the other company that contracted with you and invoiced you. There may however be other relevant factors here, e.g. if the dissolved company was in existence when the work was done.
